The gift of a cow will increase a family’s protein and calcium intake. One cow can give up to 5,000 gallons (or 350,000 glasses) of milk in its lifetime. That’s enough to provide plenty of protein and calcium for children and families. Any surplus milk can be sold to generate additional family income.
