Remembering Mr. Vincent Ruto

We wanted to update all of our trip participants and people who are invested in and support Chembulet community, that Mr. Vincent Ruto a member of the Chembulet Leadership Council has passed away. Below is a message from our Kenyan staff…

“We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Vincent Ruto. Until his passing, Mr. Ruto was one of our Leadership Council members. He was among the first people to welcome the partnership with the 410 Bridge to our community. At that time, Mr. Ruto was the Chairman of the Chembulet health center. He was elected to represent the health center on the Leadership Council. Mr. Ruto, together with other LC members, worked very hard to unite the people of Chembulet through evangelism and supporting development projects within and beyond the community. Mr. Ruto will be remembered for very strong support for education, evangelism, agriculture, and business. The members of the LC will remember Mr. Ruto for his contribution towards the water project among other developments.”
