The women of the Mwihoko project in Karima, Kenya have been learning various handicraft skills in knitting and paper-bead making. This August, they were funded for the purchase of weaving and spinning machines.
According to our community representative, “It was jubilation as they received the machines!”
The first group has started their training on weaving and spinning via a hired teacher. For now, the old nursery school at Kawamaitha will serve as the training center.
