Karagoto Knitting Project

As a followup to yesterday’s blog video (if you haven’t watched it, you really need to! Major kudos to Ryan and Dwayne for the footage and editing)… we’re so excited to announce that we are expanding the knitting facility in Karagoto! Right now, the women work out of a small room in a spare building. Now, they are wanting to start on their own facility complete with an office, a shop where they can sell their items and storage rooms. In addition, they are looking to the future and creating a floor plan that can be expanded to TWO FLOORS so that a CLINIC can be built in the future on the second floor of the building.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this micro enterprise, its growth and dreams for the future possible!
