Daraja Alumni = Upcoming Freshmen, HEY-O!!!!

Gloria and Kerren, two of our upcoming freshmen with Teacher Grace

We are so excited for the Daraja Alumni who are about to enter the 9th Grade!! In Kenya this is a HUGE deal…. even bigger than here in the U.S. This December, they will take a test called the KCPE (very similar to the SAT here, but for high school – not college).  This test will determine what level of high school they qualify for and where they can attend.

In Kenya, most high schools are boarding schools.. but even if they are not, they are pretty expensive. Many of these upcoming freshmen already have enough sponsors, but a handful ofBecause of this, we need to help some of our Daraja alumni find an additional sponsor in order to help through high school.

We would love for you to pray for ALL of our 8th graders as they get ready for this HUGE test. And, we would love for you to consider sponsoring them as they enter into High School and continue to grow in to magnificent leaders. Below are the names of all our 8th grade Daraja students. The alumni who need a sponsor will be highlighted, and you can click on their name to find out more.

Way to go, Daraja!! We are so proud of you!
