Daraja Alumni Leadership Retreat!

Last week was the Daraja Alumni Retreat in Kenya… one of the highlights of my year! For the next few days, I’d love to share with you updates on the Daraja Choir alumni and all that God did on the Alumni retreat…

The theme of this year’s retreat was “God as our Father”. We really felt like there was beginning to be a big disconnect between the children’s identity in their earthly father and their understanding of who God is as their heavenly Father. We took a team of 21 people from the U.S. and worked together to create a curriculum for the coming year that reinforced the ideas that we covered on the retreat. It was amazing to see all of the Daraja alumni interact and study the Word together…

Several of our amazing former interns came on the trip to continue their investment in their kids.

Stay tuned! More to come tomorrow!
