Community Spotlight Wednesday Maliarette, Haiti

The Maliarette Clean Water project is making great progress! The community has established the Water Committee and Promotion Team; the community and leadership training is complete, as is the project’s structure. The next phase of the project will be the installation of the equipment and purification of the water.

10 new pit latrines were constructed for the most vulnerable families in the community. The community came together, with the families, to construct the new latrines.

The community’s Fish Pond has fish and is almost completely full! The Leadership Council is hopeful that, in four months time, the lake will be full of water and fish!

Thank you to all who have invested in Maliarette! Please continue to keep the community members, leadership, and projects in your prayers
