Community Spotlight Wednesday Karogoto, Kenya

In early July, the community hosted a 3-day Pastors and Church Leaders Seminar. This seminar focused on empowering the church leaders to be more effective in administration, discipleship, and outreach.

Two Karogoto Primary Schools received awards for their outstanding results from the previous school year! Ngunguru Primary School was awarded 4 trophies: Best Managed School, Best in Math, Best in Science, and Most Consistent Performance for the district; Gathogorero Primary School was awarded the trophy for Most Improved School. This was awarded to them as a result for having raised their KCPE mean grade 44 points!

The Knitting Project is doing well! The women are still benefiting from their hard work and labor. They have learned a new skill of incorporating beading into their upcoming projects. In the upcoming weeks, new shelves will be built in the facility; these new shelves will allow the women to display and store their products.

Thank you to all who have invested in Karogoto! Please continue to pray for the community members in all of our 410 Bridge communities in Kenya, Haiti, and Uganda!
